Ronda-Lynne Wiesner, RMT
Registered Massage Therapist
13 Years Experience in Massage Therapy
Ronda-Lynne Wiesner, RMT was first introduced to Massage Therapy after suffering a head injury while at work. Over the next year, ronda’s quality of life began to deteriorate. She developed symptoms such as debilitating pain in her right ear, severe ringing (tinnitis), severe dizziness (vertigo) and eventually hearing loss. Because the symptoms were gradual she did not associate them with the head injury.
Tests performed by doctors were inconclusive, but eventually Ronda found a Massage Therapist who was able to help her. This was her first experience with Massage Therapy and one of the most profound experiences of her life. Within one month (of twice weekly sessions), every symptom she had experienced disappeared. She had regained control of her life.
This experience was so profound, that Ronda made the life altering decision to change professions and become a Registered Massage Therapist. After 13 years and with two young children and a new husband by her side, she quit her job and went back to school.
Ronda graduated with honours after receiving 2200 hours of intensive training in Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology and Neuroanatomy as well as extensive training in Therapeutic Massage Techniques. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, is the owner of Massage Rx and now the ‘Wiesner Centre for Health and Wellness’. She is passionate about her profession and continually enhances her knowledge and skills through advanced courses.
Ronda has won awards for her knowledge of the soft tissues and bones of the body. She has a great understanding of the actions of muscles and how injuries can occur. She extends this knowledge to her clients so they too can regain control of their life. Ronda’s goal is to provide every client with the same quality of care that was given to her.
The foundation of every massage is based on Intent, Purpose and Results.
